Roger Clemens

Last night, pitching against his original team, the first place Boston Red Sox, 45-year-old Roger Clemens took a no-hitter into the sixth inning. He finished that inning after giving up one run on a home run by David Ortiz. The Yanks held on to win 4-3, and Clemens picked up his 354th career win.

Clemens out-pitched Boston’s 16-game winner Josh Beckett, who is 27, or 18 years younger than Clemens.
