New Paltz: The miracle of local politics

The miracle is that I largely stick to ideas and principles. In a target-rich environment like New Paltz, which is essentially governed by rumor, fear and political correctness, the possibilities for going medieval circus on an assortment of ludicrous public and semi-public figures are unlimited.

Generally having larger concerns in mind I rarely indulge my taste for such things.

Usually, in local matters, I effortlessly ignore most political views of others that do not apply to local matters.

That said, I have a long and detailed memory.
