Distinctions

I use the term “orthodox Marxist” to mark a distinction beyond “Leftist,” the latter indicating a strong general tendency toward Marxist principles, but with many of those principles watered down by “bourgeois” concerns. The orthodox Marxist isn’t about a “tendency.” It’s not the commie-by-osmosis phenomenon. It’s the staight up ideology with the analysis and methods, in the case of Obama cloaked in the “community organizer” schtick. And, I should add, there will be plenty of people who will ask, “So, what’s wrong with that?” When the meaning of things are successfully attacked, values are easily inverted.
