Eric Holder in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee, right now
He’s offering a rationalization for his decision to give civilian trials to war criminals.
He presents with the ineffectual banality of someone oblivious to the consequences of turning his abstract conceits into policy.
But I think that beneath that flat childish demeanor and whispy voice he knows very well that he is waging asymmetrical warfare against the United States from within its own government.
If you’re shocked by that conclusion, that this is a form of asymmetrical warfare, a rain of monkey wrenches into the civil justice system and a disembowelment of American national security, for starters, then I would suggest that you haven’t yet seen enough of who these people are to convince you. My only advice is to keep watching.
