A reminder
From me to all national, state, and local fascists and socialists (but I repeat myself):
The economy cannot be set like a watch. Or written like a computer program. Or operated like a machine. Or managed like a company. The “mind” of the economy is much faster and more complex than anything suggested by those analogies, but each of those analogies suggest methods that can destroy an economy. It happened throughout the last century, routinely.
Indeed, I’m as tired of twenty-years-past-its-expiration-date KGB propaganda about capitalism, as perpetually reprocessed through American universities and vicious entertainment industry slobs like Michael Moore, as I am tired of the home grown fascism of the American Progressives, with their desire to control everything from your language to your diet to your bowels and then encourage you to dispose of your unborn children in the name of “freedom.” It’s the world of the endless neurotic panic attack punctuated with sodomy and death and screaming poverty.
That about wraps up my impression of a holiday weekend that began with some awful fools in Norway giving Barack Obama the Nobel Peace Prize, and that is before I say a word about the geopolitical confusions hanging all over such a grotesque act.
