I got the news yesterday morning from Joe St. George that Frank Patricolo has died. He was living in Portland, Oregon, and he had been seriously ill for several years.
Frank and I were only slightly acquainted personally, but I knew him well as the ‘Void’ half of “Null and Void,” the psychological warfare comedy team he was partner in with Mikhail Horowitz during the 1970s.
Those were funny, desperate, heady, wild days in New Paltz, and Frank and Mik together just nailed it perfectly. Talent that was neither null nor void.
